Vikings hire Wells, Kaplan to help in Kluwe talks (Yahoo Sports)

Once again, the Vikings are reporting to training camp with some sort of swirling controversy or off-the-field distraction to address. This time, it's the lawsuit brought by Kluwe over alleged discrimination, following a six-month investigation that resulted in a three-game suspension of special teams coordinator Mike Priefer for an anti-gay remark. The Minnesota Vikings have hired the attorney who investigated the Miami Dolphins bullying scandal and another who played a prominent role in the fight for marriage equality to help in settlement talks with former punter Chris Kluwe. The Vikings announced on Tuesday that Ted Wells and Roberta Kaplan have been retained. Kluwe is threatening to sue the team after it released a 29-page summary of a report that found the team cut him for football-related reasons. Kluwe wants the entire report made public.
