Prosecutors say they have ''direct evidence'' that the fiancee of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez lied to the grand jury that indicted him on a murder charge in the slaying of Odin Lloyd, including about a box she discarded at Hernandez's direction. The prosecution said in a filing Wednesday it has evidence that contradicts multiple pieces of Shayanna Jenkins' testimony. Prosecutors say she told the grand jury she couldn't recall where she disposed of the box, which was in a plastic bag, and that she didn't try to conceal the action. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty in Lloyd's 2013 shooting death.
